JDA readies for Street Rods
By ALLAN TINKER
Top on the agenda, the items were ticked off: ads, posters, web, Facebook, food, shelter, bouncy house, and band. All there for the first Saturday in August, Main Street, McClusky. Starts at noon with music until 4 p.m. That is about the time food runs short, so plan ahead. Ready for food this year, most receiving letters to remind them are Grace Lutheran
Church in City Hall, Park Board booth, Bear Country Deli, ReUnion, Random Roadhouse, Bertsie’s, Flyway 200 and Holen’s Super Valu booth. There is NO supper planned
for this year. Kenny and the Classics will play, what else? Classics from over the years. All dependent on the age of the listener as to which years these will be! Vendors have an open invitation to set up their booths, with information available from Roberta Hunt (527-0163, leave message if no answer) as to locations open, or McClusky City Auditor Wayne
Houston (363-2345 in the mornings) Leave message as well, if he does not answer. With new and old favorites each year, the colorful lines of vehicles gives everyone a reminder
of days past, the love of a good time, and the price of gas way back when.
