Horizons program graduates thirteen

The Horizons program Leadership Plenty completed their sessions on April 13 at McClusky City Hall with a graduation ceremony for the final thirteen attendees. Receiving recognition from trainers Dan Klemisch, Robin Bauer and Aaron Pakome were Kelly Gessner, Linda Bowers, Robin Silbernagel, Andrea Kluck, Faye Hagen, Larry Gessner, Rev. Elizabeth Jassmann, Rich Bauer, Alberta Voegele, Deb Pakome, Lloyd Bauer, Sarah Jerkovich, and Allan Tinker.
The four-hour sessions addressed issues of poverty through leadership training modules that included new ways of thinking and acting within communities and organizations. Strengthening leadership in communities through new ways of thinking and new patterns of behavior supports people of different backgrounds in their efforts to work together in mutual interest projects.
