Holens recognize Small Business Saturday

With a chin up in defiance of the larger towns’ Black Friday events, now coupled with Gray Thursday as well, Holen’s Super Valu rolled out treats and red carpet service for its customers on Sat, Nov 30.
The bargains and sales were good; the treats were fresh and tasty, including fresh pumpkin bars with whipped topping.
The day cooperated and there was a steady stream of local traffic through the doors, some weak with fatigue after the Thanksgiving dinner crowd or the all day session of football games.
Diane estimated at least 150 people traveled through their store on Saturday to help them observe the services and products that small businesses offer their communities in North Dakota.
