Hoffer Lake camping site closing for season
By ALLAN TINKER
Troy Stein was county park representative to chair the County Park Board meeting on October 7. He noted that about $10,000
worth of repairs might make the water drainage and other building problems less troublesome. Stein suggested they install gutters on the 4-H building, install drain tiles and adjust the doors. Jake Windsor, FDHU, will create a design plan for a system that meets health department
requirements. The design will cost $150 for a tank system or $300 for a drain field system. This needs to be done before the board can do
bidding, as the design needs to be approved by FDHU before work being advertised.
