Highway 200 scheduled for upgrade

Though not a huge change in the planned renovation of Highway 200, the improvements are well warranted; designed to improve safety.
The entire length of ND Highway 200, within the project areas, will receive silver grading, mill and overlay, according to information presented at the meeting on July 21 at McClusky City Hall’s community room. The meeting was well attended with legislative, county and city representation along with officials and workers from NDDOT and the interested public. Adjacent landowners to the widened areas were also there, both for easement information and for information on the possible changes to access to their property.
Construction easements may be needed at locations of deep draws or steep hills.
