Hang out and let the world come to me

Hang out and let the world come to me

Roxinne McPhail has seen many places in the world. A native of Kelowna, British Columbia, later living in Canberra, Australia, with her parents Bob and Ellen McPhail
and older sister Janie and younger sister Karen. Her father worked as a computer technician in Australia. McPhail tells of her summer visits to her paternal grandparent’s
farm in Belmont, Montana, which started when she was in seventh grade until she was in her twenties and in a university. It was a small town she said, now days it has a population
of about 10,000. The motel had six rooms with a bar and café alongside. When she was in her mid-20s she made an offer on the motel but was not taken seriously. Then life happened and she found herself at a job eight years ago with North Dakota Department of Transportation. She already knew she was a prairie girl at heart and then she moved to Bismarck.
She has vast experience in real estate, and bids along road projects. She was working on Highway 200 projects when she saw McClusky and thought it was “such a cute
town.”
