Fire destroys truck

An electrical malfunction was labeled as the cause of a blaze which dramatically destroyed the major portion of a 1990 Kenworth hot mix hauling truck. The owner, Steven Bailey of Bailey Paving of Jamestown stated that the driver, Franklin Charlton of Oklahoma was not injured.
Bailey added, "We were just finishing up and the truck was empty. It was the end of the job for the City of McClusky, patching by the restaurant along Highway 200 in the city (Bertsie’s Drive In). We appreciate all the help from Sheriff Naser and his department."
