Fire department members demonstrate, learn and honor

During meetings and in the community, the McClusky Fire District board and fire fighters are busy on many levels.
Most recently, a group of firefighters held an auto extrication demonstration after the NDSRA event concluded its display on McClusky’s Main Street.
The August 3 demonstration, in more-than-warm temperatures, was held at the Heart Park location just west of Main Street.
Fire Chief Jeff Martwick coordinated the demonstration with Lane Alm, Samantha DeMunbrun, Dale Jorgensen, Jason Parsons, Lance Pellman and Lee Pellman handling the extrication equipment and techniques.
In their regular meeting actions, the firefighters also received a demonstration on their new fire monitor. Cole Felchle gave the demonstration for the McClusky Rural Fire Department.
