Women of western North Da-kota, could you use two days of fun, fellowship and spiritual growth? Could you use some time devoted to promoting your physical, spiritual and emotional well being?
Come to the Western North Dakota Synodical Women of the ELCA convention on June 17-18 at First Lutheran Church, Williston, where you can experience that and so much more!
The weekend will be filled with various opportunities to examine “Standing at the Crossroads”, which is the convention theme. Missy Ohe, a motivational speaker from Grand Forks, will be the keynote speaker on Friday helping women identify their path as they come to a crossroads in life.
There will be a community Christian music concert and ice cream social in nearby Harman Park on Friday evening open to the public. Bishop Mark Narum will tell about his trip to the Central African Republic (CAR).
A fundraising walk is scheduled for early Saturday morning for Lutheran Social Services Luther Hall renovation project so bring your walking shoes.
Come and learn from the various awareness sessions, which include local interests like “Fracking the Bakken” as well as international free trade women’s organizations like Asante.
