Eight winners enjoy pancakes and prizes

With lucky eight winners capturing $5 in McClusky Merchant Association gift certificates, they joined the others who chose their favorite pancake and syrup flavors at the McClusky Locals brunch on Sunday.
Eight students were among the rest, with a few younger ones delighting the diners with their happy chatter.
The music ranged from Celtic New Age and Enya to other Irish popular favorites, such as by the Chieftains.
The eight winners were Leroy Lauer, Todd Rath, Linda Murray, Mark Abrahamson, Cameron Touchette, Babett Halstad, Marilyn Saueressig and Lane Rhoads.
The event helps fund the local cheer baskets and other food programs during the holiday seasons and at other times of the year. B
