Egg hunt gathers children for pre-Easter fun

Egg hunt gathers children for pre-Easter fun

The cold and crisp April morning was not a perfect day for egg hunting outside, but inside the McClusky High School gymnasium, it was warm and welcoming.
Only a few youngsters were there at 9:30, arriving with the Easter Bunny helpers who were busy hiding eggs and arranging the setting for three groups of children between the ages of 0 and 10.
Lines of eggs were on low places, where small hands and eyes could access them. Other areas in other rooms were also dotted with eggs hiding in decorations, corners, shelves, steps, counters and wherever a bunny helper could think of to hide an egg.
As the minutes edged closer to 10 a.m. the doors opened frequently as more and more children and their parents or grandparents arrived for the vent. Soon there were more than 40 youngsters and almost as many adults in the building.
