Dinner for delegates features dignitaries

A loyal and hungry crowd gathered at the Harvey Eagles Club on Sunday night for the District 14 Republican meeting. They dined on roast beef and all the trimmings, topped off with a cream cheese frosted cake dessert.
Aside from the food, issues were discussed before, during and after the meal and presentations. The chance to address issues of personal importance with the people who have the power to act made for a positive evening for many. The meeting’s ending was the pie auction, with badge bearing home-baked items up for the highest bid. Chair for the meeting was District 14 vice-chair Ron Hofstrand.
