City okays permits and renews oaths of office

Bryon Belile, Confederate Bar and Café, off site sale of alcoholic beverages; and McClusky Merchants Fireworks permits were approved at the July 12 meeting of the McClusky City Council.
The returning incumbents, Theresa Jorgensen and Roberta Hunt, re-took their oaths of office, save for Mark Miller, who was absent. The president, Miller, and vice-president Hunt, slots on the council were also reaffirmed.
Edna Neuharth requested a locate and “made to work” for her water shut off in front of her house. The city council will direct it to be done for her.
Trent Naser reported that there was one fireworks complaint on the fourth and one stolen grill report. He urged residents to report any missing items so the department can be aware if there seems to be any increase or happening of thefts within the area.
