Carson Houser receives scholarship

Carson Houser represented North Dakota at the National High School Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Though unsuccessful in competitions at the rodeo, Houser still made North Dakota proud by winning the Lane Frost Memorial Scholarship. He received $4,000 through the scholarship awarded in memory of Lane Frost. Frost died while competing at the Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1989.
This honor marked a special place for Houser, as he is the first bull rider from North Dakota to receive this award.
