Carson House receives rodeo scholarships

Carson Houser is headed back to the National High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyoming. What looked to be a disappointing senior year in high school rodeo took a sharp turn for the better. The year 2019 saw a big increase in bull-riding contestants; at each rodeo there were 20 to 25 bull riders.
Carson entered the state finals in Bowman tied for 6-7-8th after getting bucked off in the first go on Friday. It did not look good for him to qualify for Nationals as they only take the top four in each event.
Saturday evening, he placed second in the round, which also moved him to third in the average. Those points combined, moved him to third in the standings.
