Bubble galore at local math event
By GABLE RHOADS
The math event at McClusky Elementary School was a huge success for the large number of parents and students who attended held on Thursday evening.
Deemed "Bubbleology," the event had five separate bubble stations. The first table held everyday objects that students in grade K-6 could use to create bubbles. The youngsters appeared to have a great time using paper towel rolls, rubber bands, spatulas, even their own hands to create bubbles.
Grades 7-12 were presented common items and encouraged to fashion them into bubble blowers. Instructor Mike Axt created huge bubbles using a bubble maker he fashioned out of a stick and a piece of rope.
