Bowdon meat plant project ready to move

Bowdon area residents are moving forward on their project to reestablish Bowdon as a center for meat slaughter and processing by building a new, state-of-the-art plant.
Bowdon Meat Processing Cooperative vice chairman Corey Hart says, “A lot of hard work and planning have gone into the project so far, and we’re now ready to move into the second most-interesting part, raising the money for the plant. Of course, the most interesting part will be seeing the building go up and opening for business. We’re looking for that next fall.”
