Blue Thistle open house treats

True to good promotion standards, Blue Thistle owner Roxinne McPhail had favorite area foods for “thanks for stopping treats” at the May 27 open house. Bratwurst sizzled,
condiments, chips, and beverages waited, and interested visitors received tours along with their food. Each day brings McPhail to work at her new business, while keeping her old job as well. The lots with camper hookups are ready, rooms are being refurbished and painted, and she is using talents to bring back to the community more rooms for visitors, special
events, and commercial traffic. Sign waving at the open house and continued update placement along the front of the house/office keep passersby informed. McPhail estimated at least 25 people stopped to see what was happening to a wellknown motel space in the community.
