Beautiful day for Denhoff and Goodrich Memorial Day Services
The Goodrich American Legion Albert Block Post #56 Color Guard presented the Memorial Day service at the Denhoff Cemetery. Ryan Mindt gave the invocation. Wellborn Majors placed flower by the cemetery’s white cross. The Color Guard fired the formal salute and Jesse Braunagel from Fargo, son of the late Legionnaire Joe Braunagel, played “Taps.”
The Memorial Day program was held at the Goodrich School. The Legionnaires advanced the Colors followed by the audience singing National Anthem and reciting Pledge of Allegiance. The Goodrich Elementary students sang two musical selections.
