Area Memorial Day services scheduled
Goodrich American Legion Commander Merwyn Krein and McClusky Legion member Darvin Engel announce the two Legion Posts services for Memorial Day, May 25. Krein stated the Goodrich Post is making an effort to fly all of the 90 flags they have on Memorial Day, weather and wind permitting.
Goodrich American Legion will leave from the hall at 9 a.m. for the 9:30 a.m. graveside service at the Denhoff Cemetery on May 25, with services for Goodrich starting at 10 a.m. at the Goodrich High School gym. Rosemary Morrison and Aileen Erdmann, daughters of Harold Jenner, will be the featured speakers.
