American Bank Center’s Splash Bash draws 50
American Bank Center of McClusky sponsored “Splash Bash” for the second year on Thursday evening, at the Kathy Davis Swimming Pool. Approximately 50 kids and
adults came for free swimming. The bank employees held games for swimmers in two age categories. First were the ping pong games, collecting as many ping pong balls as they
could; beach ball races across American Bank Center’s Splash Bash draws 50 American Bank Center employees Don Weidner, Cindy Gahner, Sharon Rath and Sue Frueh coordinated the Splash Bash. Younger swimmers held onto a beach ball to swim across the pool and back. The older swimmers also swam with beach ball across the pool and back.
Older swimmers also gathered ping-pong balls to win certificates the pool and back were next. Third game was the coin find. Swimmers had to collect coins from the bottom of the
pool. They also received certificates for first and second places. Certificates for winners were first place, $10; second place $5. American Bank Center also provided assorted snacks, bottled juice and water.
