A knack for numbers

When Kerry (Kukert) Landsiedel first started college, she wasn’t sure what career she would eventually choose. She earned a medical assistant management diploma from Interstate Business College in Bismarck. Because all of her jobs ended up being in the financial management field, she eventually decided to seek a diploma in the accounting field.
"I have always had a knack for numbers," says Landsiedel.
While attending Aaker’s College in Bismarck, she had her first experience in the accountant field when she was hired by KKR Accounting as an account manager. She knew then that being an accountant was going to be her career choice.
Landsiedel earned an AAS in business management with a management emphasis as well as an AAS in accounting with a financial emphasis.
Landsiedel worked for Northland Community Health Center as the Chief Financial Officer before becoming a Senior Associate at the accounting firm of Eide Bailly, LLP in Bismarck.
She toyed with the idea of starting up her own business but was afraid to jump in with both feet.
In May of this year, she took the plunge and opened Beyond Bookkeeping in McClusky. Her business is located in the former Holen Construction building west of town.
