Sportsmen hold full-house appreciation supper
The McClusky Sportsman’s Club held their annual Land-owner’s Appreciation Supper on Sunday, January 29th at the American Legion. 107 guests enjoyed a supper of roast beef, mashed potatoes, baked bean hot-dish, and buns provided by the Club.
Thieves hit McClusky locations
The Sheridan County Sheriff’s office reports that on the morning of January 25, 2012, a burglary was reported at Bentz Supply Store in McClusky.
Two-county farm workshop next Monday
A farmland leasing workshop is underway for area residents. It will be presented by the combined efforts of the NDSU Sheridan County and McHenry County Extension Services.
Hunter wins 2x2 lottery
Taylor Springs, Illinois hunter and resident Beau Elam has been coming to the McClusky area to hunt ducks for six or seven years. This year, as many before, he visited the C-Store daily, if not more often.

35 couples wed in county in 1962
Thirty-five couples were married in Sheridan County 50 years ago in 1962. Several couples will celebrate their golden anniversaries this year.

About 90 people attended the joint 2011 Sheridan County Conservation Achievement Awards Banquet and Sheridan Association Annual meeting on Dec. 7 at the McClusky Elementary School lunchroom. SCSCD Manager Darci Gahner and Sheridan County Extension Agent Emily Kline welcomed everyone to the banquet.
