Lack of water and pasture concerns for April City meeting
If you don’t count the panic-inducing resignation of the city auditor, the McClusky City Council meeting got interesting about half-way through on Monday, April 14.

A completion of the Herb Pop-pke Collection has been announced by the NDSU Library in Fargo. Herb Poppke, a son of German Russian immigrants, was always a fervent supporter in researching and preserving his heritage. He was an avid writer, researcher and collector; especially of maps and books. Michael Miller announced the completion formally.
Goodrich American Legion celebrates 95-year birthday
Albert Block Post 56 of the Goodrich American Legion and Auxiliary celebrated its 95th birthday with a program on Tuesday evening, March 18, at the Goodrich School gym.
Merchants move forwardon Midsummer fest
With several open meetings between regular monthly meetings, plans for the McClusky Merchant Association’s Midsum-mer fest are coming to final stage. Posters will be made and available in the near future.
Returning home from serious fishing
With son Liam in tow; dog Jackson riding in back, Gable Rhoads returned home to McClusky in early summer of 2013. By July, she was employed by the Co-op Elevator as the secretary.

Crop Day draws 20 attendees
The 2014 Sheridan Asso-ciation County Crop Day had 20 attendees at their March 12 meeting at McClusky City Hall Community Room.
School board handles many issues at March meeting
The McClusky School board moved through a variety of issues at its March 13 meeting.
