One can almost imagine an animal quickly tuning into the calm nature of McClusky’s newest veterinarian at the Sheridan Animal Hospital. Andrea Lee, soon to be Schlafmann, would be hard pressed to choose between cattle and horses for her favorite choice in animals to treat.

Forty years, 400 guests and a sombrero
A veterinarian since he was 26, twenty of them in McClusky, was cause for a 40-year-celebration. At his semi-retirement party on July 10, 400 guests showed up to help him celebrate.

On a warm Monday afternoon, July 13, Sheridan County 4-H held their Achievement Day and community appreciation supper and raffle.

The McClusky City Council had its ups and downs at its July 13 regular monthly meeting.
Another business improves frontage
Bentz Supply, situated along Highway 200 in central McClusky, is another red-accented building in town. Next to the busy Bertsie’s Drive-in, they brightly mark two of the main businesses in town.
