With grandkids wanting to rub her new-grown hair, and one wanting to wear the grandma’s caps, Caryn Jorgensen is keeping her spirits up in her battle against cancer.

Bingo draws them in for community fun
It was favorite fun event for the community: Bingo. The November 26 turnout at the school gymnasium was enthusiastic over the nicely organized event, with a super-easy Bingo screen to check numbers and see what game was being played.
Excellence in agriculture celebrated at Harvest Bowl
The success, dedication and hard work of outstanding agriculturists in 53 counties in North Dakota and several counties in Minnesota were honored during the 43rd annual Harvest Bowl program at North Dakota State University, on Nov. 4.
McClusky FFA Chapter attends 89th National FFA Convention & Expo
On October 16, 2016, twelve members from the McClusky FFA Chapter and seven members from the South Prairie FFA Chapter, along with advisors and guests, started their trip to the 89th National FFA Convention & Expo, held October 19-22; in Indianapolis, IN.
Food and more draws good crowd on Sunday
Approximately 100 happy or hungry people stopped to browse or graze at the annual craft and vendor show at McClusky High School’s gymnasium on this past Sunday.
Vietnam era Veterans honored
A pancake brunch, complete with savory sausage, brought out the town to help celebrate Veterans Day in Goodrich.
Local teachers recognized
The McClusky American Legion Auxiliary met at the Community Room on November 9 to prepare three trays of cookies which were later delivered to the elementary and high school staff rooms as well as a smaller tray to the office staff. The cookies were homemade by six local auxiliary members.
Eight winners enjoy pancakes and prizes
With lucky eight winners capturing $5 in McClusky Merchant Association gift certificates, they joined the others who chose their favorite pancake and syrup flavors at the McClusky Locals brunch on Sunday.
