From lullaby to the classics
Born on a farm north of Minot, Susan (Sue) was the middle child of Marvel and Irene Zahn. After her lullaby introduction to life, Sue went on to earn the State FFA’s “Most Talented” award in 1979.
Photo finish to February meeting
Seizing an opportunity to catch all of the school board members in their “official” shirts, they lined up in the gym, after the February 13 meeting was adjourned, to pose for photos.
MHS Snow Ball royalty named
Jacob Strobel and Kaley Sease were crowned king and queen of the McClusky High School 2018 Snow Ball coronation on February 15 at the high school gym.
Bounced out
The Trojans girls basketball team was bounced out of further competition Saturday night. They lost to Center/Stanton 55-26 in a District 10 region-qualifying game.
Martwick hired to assess rural properties
Jeff Martwick of McClusky was hired on an as-needed basis to assess rural properties in Sheridan County at the February County Commissioner's meeting

It was on this date in 1949 that the North Dakota Air National Guard was called up to drop feed for stranded starving animals in the western part of the state, where a storm had dumped 16 inches on top of the 14 that were already on the ground.
