Local editor receives Legion honor
Allan Tinker, former editor of the McLean County Journal, now part of the Central McLean News Journal, and current editor of the McClusky Gazette received the North Dakota American Legion Press award at the North Dakota 2019 American Legion Family Winter Conference in Minot, on January 25.

Full house for appreciation supper
The annual McClusky Sportsman’s Club show of appreciation for landowners allowing hunting on private property was held at the McClusky Community Center at city hall on January 13. A free supper was served to everyone who attended: young and old, hunter and landowner.
