Helping Farm Life be safer
Sheridan County Farmers Union and Sheridan County 4-H sponsored a Farm Safety Day on Friday, June 25, at the 4-H building at Hoffer Lake. Approximately 25 kids attended to learn safety at the farm.

Six participants came for 5K run/walk at the Northland Community Health Center clinic, Saturday morning, June 25.
Pool opening current goal for Park Board
Swimming pool renovation, painting and repairs are in full swing for a June opening, hopefully by Midsummer Fest weekend.
Mechanics Plus lot issue heard at city meeting
Brandon Lauer brought his difficulties with the completion of needed repairs on the north lot across from Mechanics Plus to the June 14 meeting of the McClusky City Council.
4-H District Communication Arts Contest Held at McClusky
Young people from Wells, Stutsman, Sheridan, Eddy and Foster counties competed June 2, 2021, in the 4-H District Communication Arts Contest held at McClusky High School. Communication Arts is the 4-H speech and demonstration competition that is held at the county, district and state levels.
Blue Thistle open house treats
True to good promotion standards, Blue Thistle owner Roxinne McPhail had favorite area foods for “thanks for stopping treats” at the May 27 open house. Bratwurst sizzled, condiments, chips, and beverages waited, and interested visitors received tours along with their food.
