WWCS baseball season ends
Many WWCS baseball players were recognized at the end of their 2018 season. For their team awards, Nolan Teigen was named WWCS Most Valuable Player. The Most Improved Player Award was given to Logan Schmitz. Tyler Kulzer was awarded the Rookie of the Year Award. Both Jack Sannes and Tate Dickson received the Hustle Award. The Top Pitcher Award was given to Trevor Schreiner.
Both Trevor Schreiner and Nolan Teigen were named All-Region Players in their 2018 season. Schreiner was also recognized as a member of the 2nd All-State Team. The team as a whole received the Award of Excellence, an award given by the National Federation of State High School Federation to teams who show good sportsmanship as well as integrity during their games.
