Wilton-Wing stymied by Lady Holsteins

Wilton-Wing’s best efforts were thwarted by a formidable New Salem-Almont squad in their Sept. 21 home loss by a score of 3 sets to nil.
The Purple and White showcased great chemistry in the early going, as they jumped out to a 5-3 advantage. But their black-and-white clad opponents impeccably returned just about every kill
and/or pass sent into their territory.
The visiting team’s Marlee Bittner, in particular, was relentless in keeping points alive by digging out several missiles delivered by Wilton-Wing.
