Wilton-Wing Miners reflect on State play
The Wilton-Wing boys basketball team has once again made it back to State after almost 30 years, taking fourth place overall.
In interviewing the coaches and players, they described it as being a surreal experience for all. The athletes and coaches were all amazed and absolutely elated when they were able to go. Many even said that they weren’t nervous but instead were more excited for the days to come.
It was even more surreal to think that many of the boys playing have played together for 10 years. Wilton-Wing boys Head Coach Scott Wolff said he sees players on the team more as his sons.
Wolff said they all have great chemistry and are like music in physical form when people watch them.
