Wilton-Wing Miners advance to District 8 Finals
The Wilton-Wing Miners boys basketball team continues to prove why they are the top-ranked team in the region.
After an undefeated regular season, the No. 1 seeded Miners entered the NDHSAA Division B District 8 Tournament in Garrison with high expectations and a clear goal: secure a Region 4 Tournament spot and set themselves up for a run at the State Tournament.
As the top seed, Wilton-Wing faced eighth-seeded Mandaree in their tournament opener.
The Miners wasted no time imposing their will, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back.
Their dominant performance resulted in a lopsided 98-41 victory, sending them comfortably into the second round.
