Washburn, Wilton volleyball takes the court
The Washburn Cardinals volleyball team traveled to Garrison on Oct. 15, and the redbirds won the match in a three-game sweep. The first set was a close thriller by a score of 25-21. Maddie Jennings, the junior hitter, led the charge with four kills, one block, and one ace in this set.
The second set was a dominant effort by Washburn winning 25-6. This set saw senior libero/setter Alex Seidler come through with five assists, two assists, and two digs. She had 10 assists by the time the match was over
