Warriors trump Cardinals in OT
It was a vigorous battle for the win in Standing Rock this weekend, as the Cardinals and Warriors duked it out into overtime for the counter win. The Warriors trampled past Washburn in the first quarter, tallying over 20 points while the Cardinals were stopped at five. Standing Rock had a healthy lead going into the second but Washburn shook off their rough start and made up some distance, tallying 20 points in the quarter. The Cardinals would trail behind into half and through the third quarter, but the team began to close things up as they utilized three pointers to climb the scoreboard. Heading into the fourth quarter, Standing Rock led by 10, but that lead would be shrunk to nothing over the next eight minutes, with the teams finally tying up the game at the buzzer.
