Waloch, Fox finish 3, 4 at Rabbit Run

Southern McLean’s Abi Waloch and Kate Fox led the Roughrider harriers this past weekend in cross country action at the Souris Valley Golf Course, competing in the Minot Rabbit Run. Waloch and Fox placed third and fourth, respectively, in the 4K race, both finishing about 10 seconds behind winner Symbria Bell of New Town.
Bell finished the race in 16.33.0, narrowly edging Shiloh Christian’s Amber Stevahn, who finished with a time of 16.34. Waloch followed closely in third with a time of 16:43, with teammate Fox following up three seconds later at 16:47.
The twosome’s three-four finish paced the Roughriders to fifth place in the team competition with a total of 124 points. Minot won the meet with a total of 63, while second place went to Williston with 78.
