Roughriders second in Underwood

Southern McLean girls and boys brought home silver last week after a Thursday track meet in Underwood.
Both girls and boys varsity teams took second at the May 2 meet in Underwood last week, with boys totally 79 points and girls tallying 75. New Town boys would make 119 points to take first, and Des-Lacs Burlington would tally 91.5 to take first in girls.
Roughrider boys would make the top ten in 18 events during the meet, with Isaac Buck leading the way with a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash. Buck would also place fourth in the 200 meter.
Tucker Schiele would take fourth in the 400 meter, and Coltan Hyttinen would place fifth in the 800 meter and seventh in the 1600 meter. In the 3200 meter, Owen Conoly would take eighth and Patrick Conoly would place tenth.
Andrew Mehlhoff would place fifth in the 300 meter hurdles and eighth in the 110 meter hurdles.
A team of Buck, Gage Schuh, Tucker Schiele and Tate Bertolotto would take third in the 4x100 relay. Schuh, Schiele, Buck and Hyttinen would place third in the 4x400 relay. In the 4x800 relay, Collin Petersen, Owen Conoly, Patrick Conoly and Tyler Dahme would place fourth. A team of Mehlhoff, Armani Martinez, Dylan Eckel and Michael Jerome would place sixth in the 4x200 relay.
