Rain slows Southern McLean's schedule

Although the week was scheduled to be a busy one, the Southern McLean Track team got cut down to only one meet up in Carrington after rain canceled the trip to Rugby and the team skipped the Hazen meet with Washburn and Wilton proms taking place on the same day, limiting the team’s potential depth. Up in Carrington, many of the same familiar names showed up in the meet results. Southern McLean continued their ownership of the 800m run with Abigail Waloch adding another first place award to her collection this year on a time of 2:28.35. Andrew Kaiser also took first place on the boys’ side, running 2:03 and Drew Kamrath coming in fifth at 2:16. Also getting work done on the track, the boys’ relay squads had a pair of good finishes: fifth place in the 4x100m relay and then second in the 4x200m relay.
