After a hot start, Legion ball has hit some road bumps brought on by the number one team in the conference - Beulah.

Post 12 had an undefeated record in conference play after heading to Omaha taking on Beulah 4 times and playing Dickinson on the road.

The fireworks on the fourth didn’t lead to a big explosion the next day as the Post 12 took on Beulah on their home field. They would fall in consecutive games to the Miners with errors being a key factor in each game.

Karson Backer went 3-5 with a double in two runs scored in the first game. Zach Zenker went a perfect 3-3 in the second game but the Miners were too much to handle in the end with Post 12 losing 9-6, and 9-7.

They gained their composer two days later when taking on Dickinson. Trevor Schreiner pitched well giving up only three hits. Post 12 hit the ball well with Brandon Jenkins leading the way with two triples and Kirk Dickhut coming home twice to get a much needed win 8-4.
