Miners young team plans to grow with each game
Despite having a tough season opener, the Wilton-Wing Miners are looking forward to growing for future games to come. The Lady Miners traveled to their opponent Richardton-Taylor on Dec. 6 and lost 57-15.
“We did not play well at all, struggled to score, at times did not rebound very well, and just really struggled breaking their press,” said Coach Lisa Jenkins.
The Miners consist of a young team with one senior, three sophomores, one freshman, two eighth graders and two seventh graders.
