The Lady Miners turned around a season-opening loss to Grant County last week with two big wins during the McLean County Shootout this weekend.
Wilton-Wing was fresh off of a defeat at the hands of the Coyotes when they entered the McLean County Shootout Friday. The girls had opened their season against Grant County just a few days before, losing the away game 41-27 before heading home.
The team played their first home game of the season in round one of the shootout, meeting Richardton-Taylor on the court Friday afternoon. The Miners would go into the game determined, looking to hit the Raiders hard and even up their record. Wilton-Wing would largely overpower Richardton-Taylor players, stacking up over twice as many points as their opponent.
