Locals make All-Academic teams

Forty-four McLean County athletes were recently named to two Region 5 volleyball All-Academic teams.
First team
Thirty-three students from Garrison-Max, Turtle Lake-Mercer/McClusky, Underwood, Washburn and Wilton were named to the first All-Academic team after maintaining a 3.70 grade point average or higher.
Making the first team, from Garrison-Max, are Meghan Wyman, Sarah Lagge, Paige Lagge, Karli Klein, Haley Huesers and Aubrey Black.
Turtle Lake-Mercer/McClusky qualifiers for the first team are Madison Boehm, Amy Klain, Rhea Laib, Morgan Reiser, Daisy Sparrow and Sophie Sparrow.
First team members from Underwood are Elizabeth Heger, Lexie Jo Jacobson, Emma Brunelle, Maggie Eng, Lauren Jacobson, Milah Kibbel, McKenna Olson, Taysha Snyder, Callie Berg and Bailey Gross.
