Lady Miners rout Turtle Lake

Wilton-Wing’s Oct . 8 drubbing of Turtle Lake-Mercer/McClusky (TLMM) in three sets may have seemed like an exhibition of sheer dominance to the outside observer, but not to Miner’s coach Lea Quam.
“We had some struggles with serve-receive which we will be focusing a lot of time on in the next few weeks. We lost our communication at times and we need to remember this is a big factor on whether you will win or lose a game,” said
Quam, whose team currently sits at 9-3, with a home game versus Underwood High School upcoming. “Although this was not our best performance of the year, the girls worked hard on their offensive game.”
