The Wilton-Wing Miners girls basketball team headed to the District 10 tournament this last weekend to battle for the right to head to the Region 5 tournament in Mandan.
The Miners would be seeded as the number three team coming in and would face the Max Cossacks to start their play-in game on Feb. 9, the last game of the evening.
The Miners would play a solid game to open the tournament and were able to slow down eventual Senior Athlete of the Year, Cheyenne Jacobson, to only 10 points and 2/13 shooting.
The Koski sisters do what they do, playing well on defense and contributing on offense with 11 a piece along with a good second half;  Erin Thompson also with 11.
The Miners would advance to 59-32 to play Garrison who beat Turtle Lake their previous game meeting.
Garrison had beat the Miners in the regular season by six, 46-52 and the Miners were looking for revenge.
