Lady Miners erupt versus Standing Rock

Wilton-Wing stormed out of the gates by dominating Standing Rock 52-25 in their opening Feb. 22 contest of the 2021 Region 5 Girls’ Basketball Tournament in Mandan.
The Purple and White came out firing, with 17 points in the first quarter in a wellorchestrated
team effort that saw six players score 7 or more points.
After the game, leading scorer and rebounder Hailey Quam was awarded with a Region 5 Al l-Tournament trophy, along with point guard Kiara Johnson and sharpshooter Kalyssa Schock.
Following Monday’s win, the Miners were slated to faceoff versus Garrison to determine which team would play in Thursday’s tournament championship game.
