Lady Cards hammer Flasher

The Washburn girls put their poor rebounding and series of missed layups in the rearview mirror during a resilient 58-53 comeback win over the visiting Bulldogs last Thursday.
The Red and White proved to be in pre-game mode for most of the first half, as they continually allowed the opposition to fire off second, third — and sometimes fourth — shots on their end of the court due to their repeated failures to box out.
Rylee Fleck (33 points), in particular, was a thorn in the Cardinals side by hitting a wide-open 3 ball early on and later beating her adversaries on inside penetration at 9-2 — advantage Bulldogs — four minutes into the contest.
