Hazen offense overpowers Roughrider D in win

Two teams with 1-2 records, the Hazen Bison and Southern McLean Roughriders, clashed in a Week Four, South-West Region matchup in Wilton on Friday. It was the Bison outscoring the Roughriders to take a 40-20 win back home.
The Bison got the ball first and easily marched down the field for six points. The touchdown came courtesy of senior quarterback Adin Jungers on a 16-yard foot race across the goal line.
After a long stretch of trading punts, the Roughriders forced a turnover on drive number three. However, in an effort to capitalize on the Hazen error, Southern McLean managed to get zero yards in three plays. And so the punting show by Alex Retterath continued.
