Cardinals trumped by Troopers

The Cardinals would push to stay afloat in last week’s play-in game against the Garrison-Max Troopers, keeping pace for part of the game, but eventually losing the match and their shot at Regional play.
With the Region 5 tournament in sight, Washburn would head to Garrison last week to fight for their spot in the bracket. The teams would face off on the Trooper court, with the first set leaning toward Garrison early on. The Troopers would gain a hefty lead over the Cardinals, racking up the points to take a 25-13 victory in the first.
