Cardinals top Braves, start season on a high note
There is always an excitement that seems to palpably hover in the air on the opening night of any sports season, an excitement that puts electricity in the atmosphere, that seems to virtually cause the air to spark around you. And it was no different on Saturday afternoon, as the Washburn Cardinals boy’s basketball team took the court, looking to take advantage of that supercharged atmosphere, and use it to take care of business against the visiting Parshall/NSP Braves.
