Cardinals take the win

Wilton-Wing Miners hosted the Washburn Cardinals on Jan. 17, for a non counter district game. Cardinals managed to take back the win from the last matchup between the two rivals.
Nothing was held back from the opening quarter as three-pointers were dropping early from both ends of the court. Tate Dickson cashed in on two three-pointers, helping the Miners stay just behind the Cardinals to end the first 18-14, Washburn.
The pace did not slow down in the second. Cardinals were able to move the ball effectively with swift passes, but Miners would seem to always have an answer back. Cardinals would take a slight lead into the half, 28-26.
